Job Vacancy – HR Manager

We are looking for an HR Manager on behalf of our client, a blue chip security printing company, to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, a go-to person for all employee-related issues. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of a complete HR Manager job description and specification.

Reports to: MD/CEO

The HR Manager would be responsible for:

  • Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across
  • the organization
  •  Determining suitable salaries and remuneration structure
  •  Providing the necessary support systems for payroll
  • Supporting employee opportunities for professional development
  • Managing succession planning of staff
  •  Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or
    other issues
  • Managing the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement,
    motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

We are looking for a person with strong collaboration, negotiation, interpersonal skills and people
oriented and results driven
Who also has:

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager (Should we specify number of years?)
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of
    the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or Business would be
    necessary.
  • Between 45 and 50years of age.
  • Professional memberships/certifications would be an added advantage
