Technical Co-ordinator

We are looking for technically competent and skilled candidate with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of technical coordinator to :

  • Provide organization-wide leadership and technical support, including oversight that quality is ensured.
  • Provide ongoing support and capacity development to resource persons within the organization.
  • Play an active role in the strategic and technical development of the organization.
  • maintain budgets and work schedules, organise and participate in shareholder meetings and ensure all project deadlines are met.
  1. Project Management/Operational (45%)
  • Provide support for project planning, strategy development and implementation against agreed work plans, ensuring projects represent effective strategies and innovative approaches based on evidence.
  • Provide on-going support, supervision and technical guidance on the Organisation projects
  • Conduct regular technical support, Monitoring and Evaluation and quality control oversights of projects; and address challenges to improve performance and quality of project implementation.
  • Ensure technical compliance and adherence to quality assurance standards and policies/guidelines.
  • Ensure the availability of requisite management tools and platforms.
  • Contribute to the regular programmatic report and provide feedback to program team.
  • Take an active role in contributing to business development
  1. Administrative Support (25%)
  • Support in daily office maintenance task scheduling and management
  • Maintain an organised filing system
  1. Research and Development (25%)
  • Engage in research, development and innovation to enhance overall performance.
  1. Liaison/ Relationship (5%)
  • Act as technical contact point
  1. Any other duties as assigned by the Managing Director

  • Effective management of all office and project resources and the activities and affairs of the Chair.
  • Accountability for all monies spent in the discharge of assigned duties Innovation.

  • Liaison/ Relationship
  • Ensure relationship with partners, associates, internal and external stakeholders is effectively and efficiently managed through concise and timely communication

The following qualifications are required:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in technology related fields or equivalents.
  • Capacity to use office software and cloud services with basic programming skills.
  • Ability to address complex problems.
  • Ability and experience in making strategic plans, setting targets, reporting and evaluations.
  • Excellent team building and administrative skills
  • Ability to learn and quickly adapt to new developments
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritizing and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy, thoroughness, and dependability are imperative.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, verbal and interpersonal skills,
  • Analytical, research, organizational and problem-solving skills;
  • Proven ability to manage priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
