Vacancy – Business Development Officer

We are looking for a Business Development Officer who will play a key role in driving the growth and success of the company. The ideal person will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing, and maintaining relationships with key clients and implementing strategies to help achieve the company’s sales and revenue goals. He/She will also support the Business Development manager.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development strategies.

• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

• Achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets.

• Monitor industry trends and market conditions

• Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders and customers.

• Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.

• Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.

• Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.

• Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning.

• Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.

• BSc in business management or administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field.

• Not more than 3 years of experience in business development and sales.

• Experience in engineering and Information Technology will be an added advantage.

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

• Experience managing budgets and reviewing financial statements.

• Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite

• Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.

• Strong business acumen.

• Detail-oriented.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.
